Coach

Maddi

Maddi is always passionate for Olympic lifting and holds CrossFIt Level 1 Trainer Certification along with her Cert III in Fitness which initially laid her foundation in coaching.

I’ve always been heavily involved in sport, playing AFL for many years and developing a strong competitive mindset. While at school, I completed my Certificate III in Fitness, which laid the foundation for my coaching journey. I’ve always had a passion for Olympic lifting, and I also hold my CrossFit Level 1 Trainer certification.

I got into CrossFit through my dad — I joined him one morning at Tempered, loved it straight away, and signed up not long after. I’m a big fan of dumbbell snatches and chasing a heavy clean, especially when it means hitting a new PB.

As the gym’s “mini coach” and youngest coach, I love the challenge that comes with the role. Coaching members, seeing them improve, and being part of such a close-knit gym is what makes it so rewarding — especially when everyone comes together for comps or finishes a class with a fist bump.
